Not Every Argument Requires You

A man does not have to attend every argument he is invited to.

Some people are not looking for understanding.

They are looking for another person willing to stand in the mud with them.

You can explain yourself.

Defend yourself.

Correct the record.

And still leave with nothing repaired.

There comes a point when a man learns that not every accusation requires an answer.

Not every opinion requires correction.

Not every challenge deserves his time.

Walking away is not always weakness.

Sometimes it is judgment.

A man should know the difference between avoiding a necessary conversation and refusing to waste himself on a useless one.

That difference matters.
